Traditionally, the Congress will be held in Akademgorodok, Tomsk.

Akademgorodok is a unique place with a high concentration of scientific and technical potential where six academic institutes and Tomsk Special Economic Zone of Technical Innovation Type are located.

The EFRE 2026 Congress will be held at three sites located in Akademgorodok:

Foreign participants of the Conference should provide the Organizing Committee with the following information required to prepare visa support no later than June 15, 2026:

• Date of birth
• Place of birth
• Gender
• Citizenship
• Country of residence
• Passport number
• Date of issue
• Date of expire
• Affiliation
• Position/Title
• Full address of affiliation
• Phone number
• Fax number
• Dates of arrival and departure from Russia
• Travel route within Russia
• Organs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in your country to which you will apply for a visa
• Copy of the first two pages of your passport (with a photo and the personal data)

Approximately 2 months after data submission, you will receive a formal invitation letter.
Participants from Schengen countries and SIC will receive the invitation during two weeks after the date of submission.
Please take notice of the expiry date of your passport. Your passport should be valid at least six months beyond the intended period of stay.
If you plan to visit other places in Russia before the Congress and will obtain a formal invitation letter from another organization, please make sure that you indicate Tomsk in your travel route within Russia.

For some foreign guest, it may be convenient also to arrive at the international airport Tolmachevo of Novosibirsk.
There are flights from Istanbul, Beijīng by S7 Airlines.
Direct trains from Moscow, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk arrive at Tomsk-I railway station.
Arrival by Local Public Transportation
At the airport, take bus №119 and get off at "Artyoma" (it takes about half an hour). Here, take bus №30 and get off at the "Rubin Congress Center" (about 20 minutes).
From railway station Tomsk-I walk along Kirova avenue to the bus stop "Elizarovyh" (it takes 5 minutes). Here, take bus №30 and get off at the "Rubin Congress Center" (about 20 minutes).
Taxi service is available both at the airport and at Tomsk-I railway station.
